Our CEO is Evelyn Reis Perry. Ms. Perry, a graduate of the University of Wisconsin, is one of a small number of female owner/operators of communications contracting firms. She has worked in management positions for more than 30 years and has led Carolina Sound Communications and Georgia Sound Communications to consistently impressive growth during her time as President.Ms. Perry, who holds a NC Real Estate Broker’s license, is listed in 5 separate Who’s Who books, including Finance and Industry, the World, Women in Communications and American Women.
As someone deeply involved in Community Service, Mrs. Perry served under President Jimmy Carter as a member of the Peace Corps Advisory Council and was the South Carolina delegate Chairman of the White House Conference on Small Business. She was the founding President of the Lowcountry Chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners and has been an active member of the Local Advisory Board of BB&T Bank for ten years. Ms. Perry has been actively involved in the National Federation of Independent Business and served as its Chairperson for five years. She still serves on its State Leadership Council. Mrs. Perry presently serves on the Board of Directors of the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce.
Ms. Perry was appointed to the South Carolina Regulatory Review Committee by Senator Glen McConnell and recently served as the Small Business representative to the Governor’s Health Exchange Committee. She was appointed in June, 2012 by Governor Haley to the Education Oversight Committee. Ms. Perry has thrice been published in Sound & Communications magazine and served as the first female President of the International Planned Music Association.
Sales is managed by David Reis Perry, a graduate of Emory University. David was the youngest ever graduate of Muzak University at the age of fourteen, and has ranked in the Top 20 Muzak salespersons in the nation 11 times in 17 years. David has graduated from Leadership Charleston with the Charleston-Trident Chamber of Commerce.
Deborah Bunting is our Operations Manager and handles the day-to-day workings of all three Carolina Sound and Georgia Sound offices. She coordinates the schedules of our installation and service technicians and keeps our teams running smoothly. Deborah is the person you're most likely to hear at our end of the phone and is the right person to efficiently take care of any needs or concerns you may have.
Lisa Morse is our Accounting Manager. Lisa earned her BA at Northwood University and later added a Masters degreee from there as well. Lisa has been instrumental in the streamlining of our accounting practices. In addition to her day-to-day duties, she has found time to implement new software, to consolidate functions from several different offices and to add new capabilities to our systems, like accepting ACH payments. Lisa has a long history in family-owned businesses and has been a member of ours since leaving Michigan in 2007. She is active in her church and with Scouting and lives with her husband, son and daughter in Goose Creek.
