Ms. Perry, a graduate of the University of Wisconsin, was president and CEO of Carolina Sound Communications. She worked alongside her husband as one of a small number of female owner/operators of communications contracting firms. Ms. Perry has thrice been published in Sound & Communications magazine and served as the first female President of the International Planned Music Association. Among her many accomplishments, she served for decades with the National Federation of Independent Businesses (NFIB) including seven terms as Chairman of the Leadership Council and was the founding President of the Lowcountry Chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners.

Charles G Perry III
Charles “Buck” Perry, was a Registered Professional Engineer in both South Carolina and Virginia and held an engineering degree from the University of Tennessee. Buck brought more than forty-four year’s experience in the communications industry when he founded Carolina Sound Communications in 1984. As Vice President, he enabled himself to work with what he valued most – his family. He specialized in Broadcast Radio and Television Station design and installation, cable television and MATV design and installation and in audio system design.

North Charleston, SC – February 28, 2025– Carolina Sound Communications,
